As my sister said, this picture hardly needs explaining, and it sure makes me laugh!
Also makes me wonder what the heck our little Zoe is going to be like (she’s gotta love cheesy poofs, right?!)… Believe it or not, we have just over 4 weeks left until our due date – YIKES! And the days are just ticking by!
Thought we’d take a minute to answer the most frequently asked questions we’re getting as we head into the home stretch:
1 – How are you feeling? I still feel GREAT! I’m definitely starting to feel the weight when I’m on my feet for very long – and I pretty regularly forget how big my belly is and bump it into something… but other than that, no complaints!
2 – Are you getting nervous? I don’t know if nervous is the right word, but we’re definitely getting curious and feeling the time pressure. I think we’re as prepared as we’re going to get and have all the key elements in place: car seat, cosleeper, diapers, wipes – what more could we need? ;)
3 – Is she moving a lot? A TON! Apparently she’s growing around 1/2 a pound a week at this point, so I’m pretty sure she’s feeling the squeeze (as am I). Also, her head is already down, which is a great sign now that she has less room to move around. I swear she’s starting to play with us, too – she played a little footsie with Bart’s hand just the other day. But thankfully, she doesn’t wake me in the night. Hope that continues!
4 – When’s your due date again? September 12th. Yep, that’s coming up soon. And yes, I still hope to deliver on my due date in 4 hours or less (my sister did it twice in around 4 1/2, so it can be done!) – cross your fingers!
5 – What do you need? Just some good vibes in our direction! Everyone’s been so generous to us, and we feel super lucky to have such amazing friends and family as we go through this huge life experience. Thank you, thank you, thank you for being there for us!
We have a short list of things we’d like to get done before the birth, but who knows how well we’ll do with that.

Emphasis on Joy 
So one of the best items we registered for and got, ( i dont know where you are registered so you may already be on this), was a baby monitor. it is a video/audio monitor. we LOVE it. Truly the best thing for peace of mind, as we can put her down to sleep (nighttime or nap), shut the door, and still be able to see her (and dont have to sneak into the room to see if she is still breathing!).
